Secluded, cool weather, facilities - a perfect hidden gem! We went on a weekday afternoon and we saw nobody for the few hours we were there. The walk to the waterfalls was easy and flat (maybe around 500m across a few streams), definitely accessible for most everyone but there were rocks in the path so may not be suitable for people in wheelchairs. There was plentiful parking, bathrooms at the entrance to the area, picnic tables and fascinating views. The waterfall was flowing, not gushing, but that was also the time of year we went (hadn't rained in a while). Some rocks are too dangerous to climb but there are safer flat stones to cross if you want to see the other views. Read moreThe falls are beautiful, a short walk from the carpark with have you at the falls. Depending on the time of year will depend on what you see. We have seen a gentle trickle to the whole place flooded. Its a great spot to sit and relax, but can sometimes get pretty busy. If you are game and sure footed you can climb up the side to the top where it opens up to a beautiful little lagoon. It's a place with so much natural wonder eg. various fungi, moss and lichen, birdlife and beautiful trees and vegetation, and the pounding waterfalls (it's near the end of autumn).
