Heart Reef

Visiting the Heart Reef was a sobering experience. I was aware that the reef was struggling, but I didn't fully grasp the extent of the damage until I saw it for myself. Unfortunately, much of the reef is dead(97% to be more precise), and the sight is reminiscent of walking through a forest after a devastating bushfire. Absolutely awesome place to visit and take a helicopter ride over. I have never seen anything like this and highly recommend a visit!
