We would say a hundred stars if we could. Ken Loveland is a kind, welcoming and generous man who has been rescuing orphan kangaroos for over 20 years. The non profit organization closed some time ago due to financial constraints but he keeps feeding and caring for the hundreds of kangaroos that live in his land. To continue to support the task he does you can make a donation (apart from the overnight rate if you are going to stay overnight). I 300% recommend this experience if you care for wildlife wether it is to stop for a couple of hours or to camp overnight. PS: the phone number has now been updated and you can contact him by phone or through a...

We booked a little get away to relax and unwind.

Loveland for wildlife definitely provided that. It was quite most the time (don't mind the rooster or goose)

Kangaroos are super friendly even for kids, you can feed the other animals and just enjoy serenity.

It is isolated away from noise, also somewhat away from technology. Internet signal is spotty, but muchly appreciated.

Must go with everything prepared.

Place was hard to find, maps go take you to the location, however the dirt road is probably 50meters away from where the map says.

Will be staying again and again, reasonable priced, lovely host and...

A rustic Chateau and setting to take you back in time with an incredible experience with the kangaroo’s greeting you when you arrive and staying with you while you have a few drinks and marshmellows by the open fire pit. In the morning being greeted by the kangaroos at your door waiting for their feed. A walk around the property in the morning finding wild orchids and plenty of other plants was a great way to finish our stay at Loveland. Ken is an...

We stayed at Ken's farm for one night, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The Roos came right up to us & we fed them with our hands. And Ken is an awesome host, super friendly & we had a very nice chat with him in the morning! It's better to book right with him, than through hipcamp. We can only recommend his place & will be back for sure!
