My first hike, after countless day trips and short walks around the country. And what a way to introduce me to hiking. The Thorsborne Trail is not to be missed. It was a good mix of challenging and relaxing, and most definitely rewarding - particularly when spending a rest day at Zoe Bay (and swimming at the stunning Zoe Falls) after the hard slog from Little Ramsey.
It seemed like every 5 minutes of walking had you in a new biome - vegetation constantly changing around you. One minute you're squelching through mangrove swamps, and the next you're walking through paperbark trees.
Mangroves, beaches, waterfalls, granite mountains - this place has it all, and the walk certainly never gets boring.
I'll be recommending this walk for years to come, and will likely bring someone along to do it with me again someday (after having done it solo this week).
