Skye Lookout — Attraction in Horsnell Gully

It is the beginnings of the new year and here I am all alone on the top of Skye lookout!

A little advice from mine to yours, there is always going to be things and situations that are beyond your control, it is not always about getting everything right, but being thankful for what is already happening and you living in! Just try your best and hope for the best to come!

Nice place on hills. Cold breeze welcome you when you come out of your vehicle! Best time to visit during sunset as you see the day part and afterwards beautiful colorful lights from the city. Besides the beautiful views of the city lookout during night time, I went to see Aurora lights. I could see these lights towards the south with mountains as a base. Been there again in October end. There is definitely 3-4 degree lower to the city. Wind makes it more cold. So better to take jacket with you, if want to come out...

This spot offers breathtaking city views and a perfect vantage point for catching stunning sunsets. The added bonus of being near the Penfolds Winery below adds to the charm. Picnicking while awaiting the sunset is always a bonus. Although the small hike/trail adds adventure, be prepared for a bit of a steep climb to Skye Lookout. Accessible by both car and foot, just beware of the often full car park, which can make turning back a bit challenging. Overall, a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and sunset...
