The best way to describe our visit here, is one word DELICIOUS! We timed our arrival perfectly as the fresh baked macadamia scones were removed from the oven. Served with lashings of thick homemade cream and jam, the way it ought to be. We enjoyed a wonderful stroll around the gardens. We were escorted on a fascinating tour of the house, with the delightful Sandra whose knowledge deftly traversed us through the history of the home, the photos, the family and the area. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend a step back into the history of our once flourishing region at Brooklyn House. And you absolutely must...

Had a really nice afternoon exploring Brooklyn house, the lady who runs the house is very cheerful and knowledgeable and make us feel so welcome!

It’s nice to explore something so close to home and learn about the history of the area, oh and the scones and tea definitely enticed me! They were absolutely delicious.

FYI they only take cash so make sure you have some! It’s $10 for the tour or $15 for the tour +...

Beautiful grounds and house, very historic. Garden tea was ridiculously overpriced. $30 for a small pot of tea and a scone each does not sit well. Just over the top touristy prices. A further house tour was another $30 for two, so $60 to have one and a half cups of tea, a scone each and a brief tour. Owners are nice. Dogs welcome. Garden stunning.
