Fry’s Hut Campground is large and flat. It has several drop toilets. Also a horse yard and fenced area for horses and campers. The river is shallow and great for kids. Access for medium or large off-road campers is ok. Would not bring a street caravan in though. Easy 4wd access to Mt Buller area via Doherty’s Road, a fern lined slow road.

The drive to the hut was such an adventure. Large camping area with real horse parking. The river on the side of the hut was Amazing. This was a huge hut very interesting to see. We visited during snow season so loads of ice puddles and frozen grass. We had a deer run by us during the walk.

The most beautiful place to camp, lots of wildlife, peaceful and well looked after area. It's definitely a place to go again, but take your own wood as not much around in the immediate area.
