Attended my adopted nieces wedding on the weekend and OMG!!! Extremely disappointed on her behalf. A wedding of 50 guests. To start with.....the bridal party arrive to the accomodation provided by the venue for the 3 day weekend. No meet, no greet by a single staff member. Nobody even showed up to give them the keys or let them in. Keys ended up being handed over the day after the first night of the booking. Accomodation came with a spa. On inspection, the spa was green, filthy, had 3 inches of dirt lines on it and water was only half full. The room disgusting and smelling of mould!! Had obviously not been cleaned for some time. The ceremony.......the venue had no chairs for the ceremony!!!! The venue had to go buy some old second hand wooden chairs so family had somewhere to sit for the ceremony. Advertised as a wedding venue but had no chairs???? The bride.....forced to walk down a path lined with rotten fruit from the trees for her magical moment. The reception......all the venue could provide was horrible white tables and plastic chairs like you sit on at school. No table cloths, no lights nothing decorative in any shape or form. You lined plastic chairs around an extrmely hot fire pit!!!! A few wooden barrels were left laying out in the yard, left with water in them and smelling disgusting and dirty!!! Im seriously suprised you cut the grass. The food.....in excess of $3000 was paid and what did you provide? Maybe a dozen smallish pizzas and a few platters of cheese and buscuits. Many guests didnt get even a slice of pizza. Instead having to utilise the drive through of the local McDonals afterwards. The guests were absolutely starving!!! Dont say you threw food out. We know thats not true. The desserts you left out on the furthest table from everyone.....tasted 3 days old and wasnt enough to feed 10 people. Absolutely ripped off!!! A staff member, while serving at the bar, had his dogs running around at the reception. What?? Why?? There were young children in attendance and it wasnt your show, it was a show for the Bride and Groom! Your courtesy bus......your driver threatening to leave half an hour earlier than it was even booked for to pick people up in echucca. As the Bride and Groom were just about to make their exit from the wedding, your staff start yelling and screaming to guests to hurry up and get on the bus. Saying it was about to leave. You actually left someone stranded at the venue with no way home because of your impatience and rudeness. Extremely rude to the Bride, Groom and Family. The staff were extremely rude all night long. Showing nothing close to a professional attitude, you have no hospitality skills what so ever. This was to be the most special day of the Bride and Grooms lives and you took advantage of them financially and providing a horrible and disgusting experience in return. You call yourself a wedding venue but that is beyond a joke. All you did was embarass your employers and damage the name of the business. I look forward to the discussions with the owners in the...
Read moreI chilled out here on Easter Monday after my Echuca Moama Market orange peel powder (anti-inflammatory) stall on Sunday. I drank one glass of their Shiraz Cabernet and a glass of sparkling white. Both excellent wines accompanied by a duo singing and playing the guitar. Beautiful setting overlooking the majestic Murray River with boat traffic passing by. Enjoyed the outdoors with the fire fits keeping me warm and the group of young ones opposite me. The young girl in the bright yellow said to me ‘love walking stick mate’ hence a great conversation occurred between us all after I mentioned to Tarj that his mullet hair style would win the Aussie Championship. I learnt he plays for Echuca GV League underage team and has AFL in mind. And his friends a up and coming players too. Courtney the adult was around so she snapped the group pick for me as my battery had died. They loved my dress code too! On the way out met this loverly lady with very bright red matching top and scarf so I could not resist a complimentary comment and she returned the compliment by saying I uplifted her spirits with my bright clothing choice and upbeat personality. What a place to meet such intelligent interesting people (young and old and everything in between)!
Excellent experience all round - deeply appreciated thanks to all the...

Beautifully presented, staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounds were perfect for family photos, and the visit to the adjoining winery very satisfying - especially with a couple of complimentary bottles!! Thanks ever so much for the perfect weekend, we will...
