Exceptional Wines & a Memorable Experience at Kate Hill!

My visit to Kate Hill Wines was an absolute delight! From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the expertly crafted wines, every detail reflected passion and quality. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tasting experience both fun and educational—I left with a deeper appreciation for their craft.

Standouts for me were the Pinot Noir (elegant and beautifully balanced) and the Reisling (crisp with just the right touch of oak). Each sip was a testament to the care and skill that goes into their winemaking.

If I had one tiny suggestion? A slightly more generous pour in the tasting glasses would make the experience even more immersive. That said, the quality is so outstanding that I happily bought bottles to enjoy at home!

I was with a small tour group. The person working there didnt seem pleased to see us - we had attempted to contact the winery beforehand but had no answer so we just came. I placed an order to be delivered to Queensland. To my surprise no payment was taken, although I filled out an order form and gave my payment details. Now some days later, still no payment taken and no evidence of wines being dispatched. It bothers me that my payment details are sitting around there. I attempted to make contact via the website but no reply! If you are not going to supply my order, please remove my payment details from your system. **Since writing this they have made contact. They had assumed I was joining their wine club; I explained that no, I was trying to make a one-time order. Visited the winery cellar door this week, and was greeted by Bonnie. Very nice tasting, and discussion on wine styles and tastes - as I like to do. Joined by Kate, where she added more informative banter and discussion about wine styles and regions. These two ladies were very generous as stated in other reviews ( which is why we chose a tasting at KHW).
