Stayed a night on a whim. Campground is small (4 tent sites) so was beautifully quiet on a Sunday night, well designed and clean. Facilities decent but basic: drop/eco toilets, bring your own water and remove your own rubbish. Short walk to basic picnic spot (couple of tables), a few walking trails and lovely water holes.

Only disappointments were the lack of any meaningful onsite acknowledgement of local Aboriginal peoples (shameful), and the atrocious layout of the NSW National Parks website. It is literally the worst NPs website in the entire country.

Seriously my dudes - please just get some actually decent park/trails maps and then... (revolutionary idea!)... put them in👏the👏same👏place👏 on the website as the walking trails info. Why would those not be together?

And yes, I did eventually give-in and download the app instead. It wasn't good either, lol. It did make me laugh, but it didn't help me plan my...

We headed to Carrington Falls in the Budderoo National Park. The road to the Falls lookout was closed so we went up the road to Nelly's Glenn. There is parking available for about 18 cars. We were lucky enough to get a spot someone had pulled out of. We were there on a school holiday Friday. There are reasonable toilets. It is a very short walk to the top of Carrington Falls. Keep an eye on any kids if you have them with you. It is a slightly longer walk to Nelly's Glenn. A very pretty spot. There are a couple of longer walks along the gorge that offer wonderfull views across the National Park. Camping is available but you must walk in a couple...

The view is nice, but not realy spectaculair. There are a few different hikes for everybody, even when your disabled or in a wheelchair. The walk to the falls is pretty easy, when you go further it's getting a bit mor difficult. Narrow steep steps, no stairs but rock steps are making the path. With kids it's cool because they think they're of the track and making their own exploring. We've turned back after the cove. It was bucketing and it's a long walk then. Rainbow in the valley...

Beautiful and wonderful Australian National park, places for camping, hiking and riding your bike, stunning waterfalls and amazing sunsets. Have spent the last 15 years exploring this national park and still find new and exciting places to explore or see. There are pit toilets but would recommend bringing your own toilet paper, there is no fresh water either so be prepared or bring something to filter or boil water.
