Iluka Foreshore Park — Attraction in Iluka

Lovely area beside the beach. Picnic tables available, but they fill up fast on sunny days, so go early. Toilet facilities onsite (although not the cleanest). Great photo opportunities. Stairs lead to a high viewing area overlooking the beach and paths along the beach. Scenic area. Lots of bikes and joggers on the paths so watch out and keep to the left. Paved paths are hilly, going up and down, so it's a great workout for the legs. Benches to sit on are scattered around on the paths - very useful for taking drink breaks. No shade on the paths so bring sunscreen and a hat. Overall a fantastic area with scenic views...

Great Park for kids and really nice beach!

We came to Iluka Foreshore Park for a walk on the beach and watch the sunset. There is a nice open green space with benches/huts and bbqs. The is a range of playing equipment for kids and the whole area is clean and tidy. The beach is very steep with rocks around. Please be careful if there is a swell here, you go down the slope and the waves become quite large.

I have heard that this area is a marine park and is a great place...

Nice area for families or to stop for lunch but if you want to find a place to walk your dog and it’s a warm day there are only hot paths - the beach in this area are not great so it wouldn’t hurt to allow dogs to be able to walk along them as they aren’t really nice swimming beaches compared to those further down the coast. It wouldn’t hurt make the park more family friendly as they could take their dog to park and have a nice walk to...
