Shack Bay has it all! The rock formations and surrounding cliffs instantly attract the eye as you head down the wooden stairs. The view of Eagles Nest in particular is a feature. There are numerous rockpools amongst the tessellated rock formation near the shore to keep children and adults entertained for hours. Soak up the sun, enjoy a book or just watch people making the most of this tranquil location. You could easily spend half the day here. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area.

A pretty typical coastal lookout. You can't see the ocean much from the carpark so a nice walk is in order. There are a a couple of short walks which are well signed and maintained. There is a 50m walk to a small lookout. A nice view, but it is becoming overgrown and the views will disappear. The track down to the beach has excellent and easy steps (about 100 steps). The beach is small and picturesque. We didn't spend time here as the weather was so wet, but would come back 🙂

Beautiful quiet serene nook with a veiw of eagles nest. Parking area at the top. About 40 stairs to bottom. At low tide can walk along the rocks. No toilets so go before you leave for this beautiful destination. No bins so take your rubbish with you. Beautiful creek runs into the ocean. Nice look out. Definately a place to come check out 👌
