Grande Park — Attraction in Ipswich City

The human park side is lovely and I enjoy walking my dog through the paths and watching all the activities happening. The dog park however, is so unkempt we have decided to stop going. The only postive is the inclusion of equipment and the fact that lots of dogs seem to still go there so socialisation can be guaranteed. There is no grass and so many people leave their poos lying around, it's disgusting. It's just a dusty, smelly, hill and my dog needs a bath after every visit because slobber from other dogs and dirt equals mud. It really needs to be reseeded for grass, perhaps half fenced off at a time while...

Great park. Needs a little bit of maintenance from wear and would be so much better if they got rid of the crushed red bark which both makes your kids filthy and is gross and replaced it with the same clean rubber ground used on the slide mountain. Would be nice to have an ease of mind to not know there isn't something in the bark the kids could step on like glass etc. Also nice it has a little kids road rules play area that has stop signs etc. For kids to ride their bikes. Tennis courts are always used and in demand. Lots going for it this park....get rid...

It has a lot of playground equipment that you dont see on every park. Loved the idea of the slide and the road. The fence around the play area doesn't lock as the gate is broken. The blue mounting on the slide also stains any white parts of your children's shoes. There are also a fair few shrubs that have died and now pose as a trip hazard in the play area.

There was plenty of undercover eating areas...
