What a great morning 40 members of the St.Arnaud.Kara Kara Probus Club had last week visiting your wonderful museum. We were warmly greeted by volunteer Brian who had arranged morning tea for us all. We were given sheets and brochures to understand how it was all set up and answered any questions put to him. We all had a great time visiting all the buildings containing items from the earlier days, many of which a lot of us had grown up with. These brought back many happy memories and lots of chatter. The sums on the blackboard in the school got some of us thinking. How things have changed.. The men in our group had the cameras out and enjoyed poking around in the machinery sheds. We had a great morning and all left with smiles on our faces. Everything was displayed very well and were all neat and tidy as were the grounds of the museum. Read moreArrived at 2:15pm after travelling from Adelaide and the volunteer curator started locking up buildings at 2:45pm so they could be out by exactly 3pm so unfortunately didn’t get to see all the buildings. Seems like a nice collection of all sorts ranging from motor vehicles to outdoor farm equipment displays to fully furnished old buildings.
