JERVIS BAY, Australia making me feel some type of way ✨️ Only 2.5hrs from Sydney, we spent the weekend in Huskisson, and fell in love! Miles of white sandy coastline & surrounded by National Parks. There were cute restaurants and shops that focused on ethical and sustainable goods. Some of our favorite highlights were: - Seeing kangaroos in the wild for the first time at Booderee National Park 🦘 - panoramic views at Cave Beach 🏝 - Plantation Point at sunset 🌅 - viewing the Milky Way since there is barely any light pollution! 🌠 - eating at WildGinger, Serotonin, and Taj Indian in downtown Husky 💚 - grabbing beers from local brewery Jervis Bay Brewing Co 🍺 This area is also famous as it's on the "Humpback Highway" where humpback whales 🐋 migrate to warmer waters this time of year. They're currently heading north coming from Antarctica. You can spot them in this area between May-Nov but dolphins and other marine life can be seen year-round 🐬 . . . . . . #feelnewsydney #ilovesydney #feelNSW #visitHuskisson #JervisBay #southcoastbeaches #visitNSW #southcoastnsw #beautifuldestinations #timeoutsociety #keepnaturewild

The following is my take on the Booderee National Park camping facilities. Toilets, Bathrooms, and Urinals are well maintained. Free firewood and fireplaces. Walking distance to a lovely beach. Lots of places to fish if you are a fishing aficionado. Rubbish disposal facilities are also good. On the flip side- There is no proper drainage for the drain water in many camping sites. The camper has to fend for himself. Add to this misery; this water attracts lots of leeches and other parasites. This is a danger to the health and safety of kids and other campers. If you have a good camping wan, you are fine. People who use a tent are the one who suffers the most. You will have to put your tent up in this darkish smelly water surrounding you. A photo is attached for your reference. Most of the wild animals are fed by previous campers and are eager to have a bite from other campers' food. They are a nuisance if you want a quiet time eating your food and watching the time fly by. Crimson rosellas, kangaroos, and kookaburras are present to eat from your hand. Possums and Long-nosed bandicoots and Snakes too were present during our stay.

Starting on the east shore of St Geroges Basin and pushing into the Tasman Sea on the Bherwerre Peninsula is one of most beautiful national parks in the country. Going by Australia’s high standards, this is saying something. Awaiting you are powder white beaches with glimmering turquoise waters, lofty headlands for whale watching and beautiful native bushland home to eye-popping wildlife. You can visit to learn about the land’s deep Koori Aboriginal culture, track down colonial ruins, or go birdwatching, fishing, hiking, or just lie back on a perfect beach. The park’s amazing diversity is showcased at Booderee Botanic Gardens, the only Aboriginal-owned botanic gardens in Australia, and a place to find out about bush tucker, medicinal plants and the Koori people’s long connection with the area.

Truly what I believe to be one of the most beautiful places on this planet. I’ve spent a lot of time at this place and it still continues to amaze and take my breath away. From walking hours to Kitty’s beach; a super secluded beach with stunning clear water and sea life. To looking over a huge cliff at governors head, or exercising on the magnitude of trails that lead to stunning sights, you will never be disappointed. If you love camping, but still having the comfort of hot showers and toilets you will love this place. However there is a ballot to get a site. But if you are lucky enough to spend a week here in summer know that you’ll have an amazing time and make plenty...
