Wonderful location and scenery! The walking track was also enjoyable (but I didn't go too far as the total walk is 34km, or so I'm told) I did the tour and the tour guide was excellent and very informative! Plus seeing the manic frenzy of the fish when they were being fed was a sight to behold! The history of the locale and the fish was also interesting. Overall a very fun outing!

Went on the Open day. It was pretty well-organised with people directing you on parking etc. There were many activities for kids like face painting, fishing or some food trucks. There are also plenty of area to sit down and chill or picnic. Overall, it is a good facility to spend some time on if you have spare time when visiting a snowy mountain area.

Great spot. BBQ's were clean. Do the right thing and clean up after yourself for the next person. Toilets were closed, which wasn't good for the girls. Dog friendly which was good.

It was very beautiful and peaceful. We had to wait till a staff come there for a tour at 2pm. If you are going there then there are guided tours at 10am and 2pm. So pls go at that time. Very friendly staff and they attend you with a lot of warmth and make you feel welcome. Not like other places that they are after money. As we were tired and my wife had a sore leg as she had fallen in the snow, we were given a better option which was quicker and still pleasurable for me and kids. We feed the fish in the hatchery and the river next to it...

a fantastic place even if you're a local, i would recommend that you pay this place a visit, there is a fantastic picnic area and views to match. the hatchery itself has plenty of interesting things to offer giving an insight to the way that fish stocks are kept up. we bought the fish food and i would have bought plenty more to see the fish jump out of the water. a great place to bring a...

Peaceful place to tour even with a group of students that happened to be booked the time we went. The guide who was also the custodian and the hatchery guardian was very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining the process of trout production to provide game for the anglers at the local lakes, rivers and dams around Snowy country. Do not be late for the tour or you...
