There is no specific parking area for this, but we managed to park our car just before the dam, when you drive in direction of Jindabyne. When we were here, the most exciting part was the giant spill fountain. That was quite hard to see from the road as the footpath and benches are on the opposite side.

Jindabyne - Opening weekend Wow this was the drive into Jindabyne on Friday 11 June 2021, lots of snow in the surrounding area. Very unusual for this time of the season, but really pretty. They got 200mm of snow a day or two before. #jindabyne #thredbo #nsw

It was amazing place to stop on our snowy trip Last year. We definitly reccomend stop to have some nice time, take pictures and pray. It was so cold, but the Sun showed up and gave us a nice time at the begining of the morning. Pleasant walk!

Great dam, unfortunately got wet so will take a star off for that, all in all though, hectic dam, great dam, took the fam there they had a great time at the dam, awesome time with the fam at the dam, except for the fact we got wet, but that's expected at the great dam...
