Hidden little gem with it's own distillery. Tour of the distillery and tasting was quite interesting. Staff/owners were lovely and knowledgable. They brew there own scotch, gin, ouzo and have there twist on a beautiful port. I purchased the port and ouzo to drink straight even tho I'm not an ouzo drinker. Scotch will be purchased when its restocked. Self guided tour of the heritage listed site was great fun and interesting to do with my son. Would be good to see guided tours down the track but that costs big dollars to set up and run. 1300 people lived her back in the early 1800's, mostly Welsh as they knew how to mine.
