WARNING! This address is the wrong one on google maps. It takes you to a private property that is the opposite side of where the actual park is. I talked to the owners of the property and they said it happens frequently in the last few months and many travelers get lost there. The real Mowbray National Park is south of Port Douglas, a few km...

Beautiful rainforest. Black Mountain Road goes from Kuranda all the way to Julatten, but you’d better bring a 4x4, because there’s some sections closer to Julatten which are extremely muddy sometimes. Pity about all the logging happening along that road. Be careful of...

Google maps needs to fix the route on how to access the National Park. The correct road to access The Mowbray National Park is via Mowbray River Road, then turn off onto Connolly Road. This is South of...
