I found the entry cost for a family of 4 to be very expensive when nothing was really included for that. Face-painting and live music were advertised but we didn't come across either of those. The one thing we saw is a bubble performer. It's basically all markets and food stalls - all opportunities to spend more money. All of the workshops and activities are extra $$$. We paid an additional $100 for a 10 min professional photoshoot. When I looked up the photographer on social media after the event she is very much beginner level photographer and is advertising $60 for 30 min photoshoots via her website.. so the mark up by the festival is incredible. Also getting in is a nightmare. Be prepared to sit in your car for an hour+ just trying to get into the car park. Saw people leaving with bunches of sunflowers, I thought "oh that's a nice touch giving those away.." but no those are also $10 a bunch.. I don't have much positive to say and don't think we will be back.

Kalibar Sunflower Festival aka heaven on earth. We had an absolutely incredible day exploring the stunning sunflower fields, fortunately met with blue skies. We purchased the Jazz Luncheon package, which was a brilliant experience, met with wonderful scenery, vibrant music, friendly catering staff and delicious food. The whole festival is set out in a beautiful manner with food, drink, clothing and trinket stalls, including a petting zoo for the kids. We would highly recommend this unforgettable day, and we will return each year to immerse ourselves in this picturesque experience. PS. Don't forget to pay and cut your own beautiful sunflowers to take home!

I was so excited to secure 5 tickets to this event. I wanted to take my favourite women and my new baby granddaughter to an amazing festival. I was so overwhelmed and underwhelmed with the day. We went on Sunday, gave ourselves extra time to arrive and were all prepared for a wonderful day. We were so so wrong, it took 2 hours to get the final 2.2km to the event carpark. We were met with a massive mud bog in the car park. We pushed through to hopefully have a good time inside. The whole place was horrible. The mud had us bearly able to stay upright, the food stalls were out of food, the sit down areas were wet and boggy, the sunflower fields were not accessible due to the ground of mud. Only one cutting station to buy bunches of sunflowers, the cue was ridiculously long, I left without any. We had a 7month old and had no where to sit with bub and had to carry her as her pram could not be used in the mud. Could not get any pictures with the flowers and use any of the displays as they were all just covered in thick mud. All the cars in the car park had to be pushed out due to the mud. I got home with so much mud on my car and all over our shoes, some had to throw out their shoes after the mud suction ruined them. I am so deeply disappointed and believe the last day should have been cancelled, refunded or credited for next...

Overrated. Horrible experience! We got in and left after 30 mins. Charging for entrance so much and not having any decent activities, only the market. I can go to a market in any town. They charge those stall owners a decent feee to be there. The parking organization is a disaster! They sent us to the back when there were rows of empty space by the front, that’s in heavy rain and mud 😂. The wait of an hour for one kilometre stretch to park is a joke. Underestimated amount of parking spots was obvious. Need to organise a parking better for people. When we left there were twice as many cars waiting to get in, poor people! They need to change things. Our friends had similarly bad experience. We are...
