Gull Rock National Park — Attraction in Kalgan

Absolutely amazing and the most breathtaking views from the top of the Casey's beach track. The four wheel drive tracks are quite advanced so recovery gear, air compressor, maxtrax and a CB radio are a must (I find a shovel is as good as maxtrax IF you need them) a convoy is a smart idea. The Casey's turn around is very soft so better stop before the yellow sand as there are harder parking spots. Beautiful place in the great southern part of Western Australia, Highly recommend to visit any time of the year. Great place to get in touch with nature on your door step. Short 20 minute drive from Albany. Don’t be put off by any negative comments about this location , They obviously don’t appreciate simple, peaceful nature.... 4WD, beach walk, fishing and dog friendly area too. We went fishing off the rocks at Heralds Point, the breeze was a tad fresh & the water was reasonably calm. It is a great spot to fish for herring, skippy & if your lucky a snapper. The track in is 4wd access only. Casey's Beach is nice & short walk from where we were. There are no amenities or rubbish bins so please remember to take your rubbish home & let's keep...
