Kanangra Walls Lookout — Attraction in Kanangra

The waterfall and Plateau Walks are beautiful. I especially love the pool and creek at the bottom of the waterfall. There are no fences at the lookouts at the cliffs, so hang onto your children! The path beyond the 1st lookout on the Plateau Walk is hard to find when you turn back, because there are many flat rock areas you walk over, and the paths are overgrown in parts, no signs at all, even when paths branch off! The Lookout gives great views of Mount Rainmaker and the surrounding escarpments. It also is the start point of a 'Hard' Grade track to Kalang Falls (also sometimes erroneously called Kanangra Falls) and the Plateau Walls. Insane! Long dirt road is fine in any car as long as you take it slow and are patient (45 mins-an hour). Once you reach the end, take the path and head right on the plateau trail. Follow it down the stairs, back up the otherside and keep going and you'll see this magnificent spot.
