The waterfall and Plateau Walks are beautiful. I especially love the pool and creek at the bottom of the waterfall. There are no fences at the lookouts at the cliffs, so hang onto your children! The path beyond the 1st lookout on the Plateau Walk is hard to find when you turn back, because there are many flat rock areas you walk over, and the paths are overgrown in parts, no signs at all, even when paths branch off! It is easy to become lost on the way back! Best to just go to the 1st lookout, or tie a ribbon to a bush to show the way back. Remember to take plenty of...

The Lookout gives great views of Mount Rainmaker and the surrounding escarpments. It also is the start point of a 'Hard' Grade track to Kalang Falls (also sometimes erroneously called Kanangra Falls) and the Plateau Walls. Seven km back along the track is a camping ground with BBQ and toilet facilities, itself a start point for bicycle adventures on the Plateau. While the views are terrific, the ledges and tracks are slippery and dangerous in...

Insane! Long dirt road is fine in any car as long as you take it slow and are patient (45 mins-an hour). Once you reach the end, take the path and head right on the plateau trail. Follow it down the stairs, back up the otherside and keep going and you'll see this magnificent spot. You have to fight your way through the little paths in the shrubland, but when you get through it all, it's definitely...

Beautiful place, wonderful waterfall and a great place to have a picnic, bird watch or just ground yourself. Just a warning, everytime I go here there is people struggling on the stairs to get down to the waterfall but if you are moderately fit it's not an issue. Also the road to get here is completely dirt and slightly rocky, not recommended if you have low profile tyres lol.

3hrs of drive from Sydney. Has 30km of gravelled road before you reach the parking for lookout. From car park you have various options for hike. Lookout is 30mins two way. Really easy access. No dramas. You have option for camping before reaching the lookout. You also have various options bush walk. Great place to be outdoors. Be careful about the mosquitoes. No fencing.
