Although only the stone wall ruins remain of the Kanyaka Station Homestead and work buildings, it is nevertheless a fascinating place to wander about and soak in a little of Australia's pastoral history. Although the walls were sturdily built in there day, time and the elements have witnessed a slow deterioration of the buildings. Read moreWow what a place, a must see when traveling from Quorn to Hawker. A easy road access for all vehicles dont miss the walk to Death rock. Leave from the old Woolshed. That road looks a bit tough but was easylng going we had on our 16 ft van no problems. Take the Airogard water and a hat for the walk, its a couple of hours both ways at a leisurely pace. Could have stayed longer even though we spent the best part of half a day...
