The lookout was clean and tidy, had an interesting chart to tell you the distances of prominent landmarks from the lookout point. The lookout itself was decent but honestly nothing breathtaking and the water was quiet far away, difficult to make out much of the geography in the view unless looking through a lens.

Staples Lookout is a great place to view Woy Woy, Ettalong, Bouddi National Park, St Hubert Island and the Brisbane Water. The lookout is located metres off Woy Woy Road. You’ll find park benches and a small carpark here. The trees offer shade. There are no toilets at this lookout. #WoWoy

It's very comfortable with the moon and stars. The night view is actually okay, nothing special. There are love locks on the iron railings, which are suitable for couples to make wishes hahahaha, but there are no night lights and it is very dark, so I was scared and didn't stay long.

Excellent lookout, the National Park is beautiful and one of the best to explore. The area is full of unique, rare and endangered animals and plants. It’s the most heavily engraved part of Australia I know of, Aboriginal carvings can be found just about in every area of the park lands and surrounding areas all the way through the existing and old abandoned quarry not from the lookout. The hills, rock platforms and mountains are littered with cultural significance, sacred sights and some truly...

Staples lookout is a beautiful spot to halt, while you are on your way to Woy Woy. It has a nice vantage point that looks green and offers a good view of the waters and the national forest. I stop here often when I am driving towards Woy Woy or Ettalong. Nice place and a good rest stop too. Please note that there are no amenities at this lookout, as it is not exactly a rest stop. However, a good place to...

This lookout was an absolute ripper, mate. The views were nothing short of breathtaking – you could see for miles with all the scenery laid out before you. The whole experience was a real stunner, with the crisp air and the stunning panorama making it an unforgettable spot. I was thoroughly impressed and loved every moment of it. Definitely one for the books and a spot I’ll be...
