Recently stayed there over Christmas very busy place considering its a caravan park and the price they charge I expected more there was no shaded areas all the kids activities is all out in the hot sun no shade over equipment there was a pool but had no water in it not everyone likes to swim in the dam the toilet facilities were filthy I was there for 8 days and there was used tampons and pads in the showers in clear sight were there the whole time slime in sinks floors mopped with dirty mops etc half of our group ended up with gastro dog friendly but have to be on leads thats fine but you would think with all that land you could have an off leashed area to give them a run now and then also there seems no rules on the water very dangerous with the ski boats for people just wanting a swim think there should be...
Read moreStaying a couple of nights at Manila & thought we'd take an afternoon drive out to look at Lake Keepit. Ignored the first road which is to the caravan park. Drove on & ignored the next road which is to the Sport & Rec Centre. Turned at the 3rd sign which is to Lake Keepit. Upon arrival, it's Reflections Tourist or Caravan Park & we were asked to pay $15 entry. "We only want to see the dam & drive back out". Nope. Pay $15 or no entry. So we turned around & drove out to the main road. Thought we'd get to see the Lake from the caravan park further back toward Manila. However, to get to it you have to pay a council fee of $6 entry.
