Laura and Ray (the owners) are so wonderful. Our son had a fever prior to the flight to Tasmania, thus, we had to postpone our trip. They just let us rebook the horse riding, little did we know that they were closed during our rescheduled flight in Aug. They specially arranged a date for us to have our horse riding according to our convenience. We really appreciate their kindness and assistance. They were really quick to respond and extremely kind. For the horse riding, it's just PERFECT. Stacey, our guide, was very patient and kind throughout the ride. Our 13 yr old son was a bit clueless with his horse but Stacey was very lovely towards him. Our horses; Captain, Chalky and Leo were amazing, esp. Chalky! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, the views are great but the people make it so much nicer. TIPS: Even with 10AM ride, we managed to find quite a number of Padymelons and wallabies, the stop point with Mt.Roland at the back is gorgeous, many up and down terrain definitely added the fun to the ride.

One of the best trail riding companies I have used! The owners and staff are professional, friendly and take good care of their horses who are super safe and well trained. They provide horses for all rider levels - as an experienced rider I had a blast on the beach rides. Special thanks to Laura and Barb for making the day memorable and letting us have so much fun (canter/gallop) 🥰 Me and my friends did the 3 day riding package. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and meals were delicious and well catered for our dietary requirements (vegetarian/dairy free). I wouldn’t go again on the Cradle mountain ride as it’s hard terrain and just walking but it was worth it to experience it once. I will hopefully be back to do the beach ride again as it was epic ❤️

Just completed a 4-day trip with Cradle Country Adventures and had the best time!! The hospitality shown from Laura, Ray, Laura's mum and the kids was above and beyond, the food provided was scrumptious and the amenities provided were everything you could've needed after multiple days of riding. The horses were all amazing, the rides we did each day had wonderfully different landscapes, a BIG shout out to our guides (Rose, Stormy, Kirsty) who made the experience safe and enjoyable the entire time. It's clear that everyone at Cradle Country Adventures are incredibly passionate about horses and providing guests with a great experience. Highly, highly recommend.

The ride is defiantly suitable for novice and beginner riders, my partner and I enjoyed our walk however were left a little disappointed in the overall track.

The beach, although gorgeous was quite boring. For a 3 hour trail ride we were left a little bummed. The instructor was good and very friendly however I wouldn’t recommend this specific ride anyone looking for a bit of adventure.

I was also left a disappointed after not being able to go for a Trott, being told I had to do a ‘test’ before the ride started to see if I were eligible to do so due to insurance reasons. Although I mentioned my riding abilities during the booking process, it seems this wasn’t communicated to my guide. A simple ‘would you like to do the test to see if you can Tott on today’s ride?’ Would have eliminated this disappointment. Because I didn’t even receive an option I was left very unsatisfied. To be clear, this ride was only me and my partner. No other riders were present.

All in all I wouldn’t re book this ride again for myself, but would recommend to those who haven’t ridden before / tourists looking for a bit of Australian outback :)

Edit: completely understand needing to ensure safety of all riders, however if this was communicated in the booking process we wouldn’t have booked the ride in the...

Exorbitant price very disappointed for a 2-hour walk while I am an instructor and manage an equestrian centre in France with my family. So I know very well how to manage a ranch and we adapt to everyone's level in order to form groups at the same level so that everyone has fun and does not ask for the highest performance to fill the pockets. Especially since there was no relaunch for a future date when everything was well specified in the email (weight, height, level and date) why ask for so much information if it is not to hold it rigourous. I can see that there is more responsiveness to respond to the comment than to predict a date when you have already paid... It's a shame that this place is simply a tourist catcher... Ps: for your great example of plane booking I would like to inform you that the plane is only a means of transport and not a pleasure unlike horseback riding which is a hobby and an activity 😉 By specifying that we call you 3 times to warn of our little delay but no one has picked up... To do the best to satisfy his customer would have was to adapt to him. A tourist collector that I...
