Mount Wooroolin Lookout — Attraction in Kingaroy

Mt Wooroolin Lookout is 9mins drive from Kingaroy - higher view thank Apex Lookout & Park. We woke up earlier to take sunrise pictures which were lovely. They have recent developed and done some tree clearing. It's just a lookout for area for bush walking.

Families with children will probably like Apex Lookout & Park as it's closer 5min drive from Kingaroy - closer view point to see the local landmarks. Lower down the hill is the Apex Park. It has a flying fox and adorable, old fashioned, rocking horse swings! Memorial Park has various play gyms suitable for toddlers to 8yo+ children. It is a secure, fence enclosed play area. Great view of the area. Access road at the top is only one way but Google Maps things you can go either way. The hill leading up to the lookout is very steep and heavier vehicles will not be able to get to the top (caravans and buses). The foot path to the top is also steep (but paved). Has great potential. MTB trails are an asset to the mountain. Amazing plant species, destroyed by council lawnmowers. A lack of quality picnic tables and bbq areas. Damaged road, poor signage and no information boards. Some speed limit signs, security cameras would reduce the nefarious activities on top of the mountain. Looks like a dump and is...
