This is quite a pleasant drive if you are in the area with some time to kill. It is just over 50kms from Tully to the gates of the power station, where you need to turn around and head back to Tully. It is not a circular drive but an out and back drive. There are a couple of stops along the way to check out the Tully river and if your lucky you might see some white water rafters. They can be...

Spectacular scenery truly something special. Located on the upper Tully river as it flows out of the mountains as rapids and pools through think dense jungle. Know for holding the world record for the biggest jungle perch caught. I can tell you the sooty grunter fishing is some of the best I have come across. Whole place is full of life. Lots of fun to be had...

Great day trip, do make sure you get out of your car and have a look or its just a road trip in the bush. If you go to the very end of the black top is a hyro plant. Near the start of the carpark is a old beat up track down to the river- worth...
