What a little gem. We loved this camp ground which is an extinct volcano crater and tons of bird life on the lake. The grounds are well maintained with a few bbq's a toilet block and a cold shower on the shed near the boat ramp which was blessing as boxing day as it was 39 degrees and the lake is shallow with a muddy bottom. Not for me but the kids liked it. Its not a large area but with the trees it creates a bit of separation between other campers. If we are in that area again one day will definitely return. Its a donation to stay so if everyone donates we will keep this place.

Came here on Easter, when the weather was not suitable for us to camp here because it’s too windy and raining whole night. The location is about 30 minutes away from town. Good grass to build tent. There’s no build in firepit but some people left their firepit there and you can just use it if you want. Toilet is clean, there’s potable water as well and electric bbq to use. It’s free campground but a donation box available.

Good spot for a couple of nights. Right on the water. Grass sites but could get boggy when raining. Clean toilets. Donation box is left of outdoor shower and above water tap, the usual rate is $5 per night. Please donate, not like the other 3 campers who didn't while we were here. They could afford smokes & grog but too lousy to donate $5 but fill their water tanks up & use the toilets. Shame on you.
