The beach is accessible directly by 4 wd or alternatively you can park your 2 wd in the carpark ( which has toilets and two outdoor showers ) and walk over the sand dune to the beach. I had a great day kitesurfing on day 1, on the second day conditions were ideal for learning how to surf and on the third day a great deal of seaweed was about that entangled my legs and leg rope that made learning how to surf more challenging. This beach has white sand and lovely clear water when seaweed isn't present. Really nice spot to do some surfing and enjoy the day ,
Be careful on the entry try to use the left drive way , if you use the main entry on the middle it’s softy sand .
If you use the left drive way it is not necessarily to put the tyres down , on the opposite side the middle way you could be get bogged if you don’t have a proper engine!

Beautiful beach with a shallow that goes out a long way and enough breaks for early learners to get used to their boards... But it is not manned by lifeguards...and there are 4WDs to look out for that keep driving up and down the beach. And most importantly totally free of the stench of rooting seaweed that is enveloping Lancelin...
