Having very low expectations based on some other cellar doors in the Riverina Area we were wildly happy when Robert, the owner, asked if we would like a wine taste. He was such a fantastic host who not only gave us a great wine tasting experience, but also imparted his knowledge of the local area and extensive family history. The pink velvet sparkling was a luxurious strawberry, peach and nectarine creamy infusion of flavours in the mouth. Like nothing I’ve ever tasted. And that was just the beginning. The rest of our tasting experience was just as delightful, and I could give a lengthy blog on everything we tasted and learned. Upon arrival the winemaker Rob welcomed our arrival at their family estate and we were treated to a splendid selection of their red, white and fortified wines which are selected by Qantas for their First and Business Class long-haul flights.
