Read moreThis is a really good walk…..we left from the down town area and followed the concrete path along to boardwalk next to the beach….once you reach the end of the board walk the path continues but does gradually get steeper. Some areas along the way are nicely shaded. If you have bad knees I would not recommend doing the upper part of the trail as it can be a bit much. There are benches a long the way so you can sit and rest. It’s a very busy path with not only people walking and running but a lot of bike riders and quite a few e-bikes which tend to go very fast….so be careful and always remain vigilant for them. The view from the top is amazing, you etc to see Lennox head and all the beaches. It is a very popular place for hand gliders and kite flyers to take off from.
