I mean, as a road crossing for a hiking trail...it's good? I didn't get hit by a vehicle, so A+, really. Has some unofficial parking areas if you want to do a day hike, but the hikes N/S are very flat and not much to look at until you progress past the shelters. There is Brookton campsite approx two kms North if you want a quick overnighter. Be a good place to do a slack pack if you're doing the Bibbulmun, someone taking your bag around to Sullivan Rock and you could smash out a few mountains with just snacks and water in a day.

Great place to start a walk north or south on the Bibbulmun track. You can park here and walk out a couple of km to the free Brookton shelter, or about 13km to the Mt dale shelter. Another couple of KM and you are at the top of my Dale which is highly recommended . You can also walk south to the Canning shelter, but I am yet to do that adventure.

This is definitely worth a walk, 4 hour treck walking through the bushland and really grasping the nature around us. I went with the walking group OF THE BEATEN TRACK who where very informative with their knowledge of the area.
