Canobolas Wines — Attraction in Lidster

We visited on a cold but sunny winters afternoon and we were stunned by how great the wine was. Jonno spent a good amount of time talking us through the wines, his plans. Very informative and great to know about it all. The Chardonnay I reckon is the best I’ve tasted in the Orange region. I can’t wait for the Pinot noir and Gamay which are scheduled for 2026! An old winery with a new owner and winemaker with some serious cold climate wine experience. The Chardonnay and Rosè were well above expectations and the beautiful new cellar door and views over the vines make for an enjoyable visit.
