We bought a ticket at a discounted price after finishing the Mole Creek Cave tour and did not regret the decision. It was a bit of a panic getting to the caves because we turned off incorrectly toward Cradle Mountain due to poor signage and GPS signal. Thankfully, a kind cave guide Aaron let us in late through the cave door and we were able to catch up. Wade led the tour through the depths of King Solomon cave and loved the stark contrast it was to the Mole Creek experience. The passages are much more narrow and you are able to have E a much more intimate session with the formations as they are a lot closer to the eye. The system is lit beautifully and there are ample opportunities to take photos. Wade was entertaining and knowledgeable of the cave's history and intricacies. The tour is suitable for people of all ages, there is no steep physical requirements to traverse the cave but there is a bit of careful walking required to avoid being hit by lower formations in the tighter areas. This cave is a pretty short tour but the sights are worth the money. It definitely is memorable.

An amazing, pretty spectacular and a very special cave, the tour guide was informative enough and she didn’t overshare! You must purchase ticket in advance either online, at the site entrance or at Mole Cave entrance/car park! Please also refer to the tour schedule online!!!! While you are waiting for the guided cave tour, if you happened to see family with infant(S) or baby, my recommendation is leave now and come back other times! There are 3 babies in our group, 2 out 3 babies were well behaved; one in particular were screaming and crying for the entire tour-40! It is just extremely frustrating, selfish that this family ruined everyone else time in the cave, not only you can’t hear the tour guide, is like stuck in a cacophony cabin, inescapable screaming and yelling noise from the distressed baby! Why? I still rated the tour 4.5 stars, just very unlucky.

Absolutely fantastic cave tour and stunning caves. Great to see the dedication to preserving the caves and education about them. It would be amazing to see more education about the Australian Aboriginal history included in the tour education and the Aboriginal name of the land it is situated on to pay respects to our First Nations people. Really loved the passion of our guide he was excellent. This tour is suitable for low-high exercise levels and not too strenuous. There are some tight squeezes in regard to the width of the pathways so some dexterity and able to bend and manouvre is required. I would say some people with disabilities could certainly do the cave walk depending on their physical ability etc. It is not accessible for walking aides and wheelchairs however. Great tour, stunning. Thanks for a great experience in August 2024!

The King Solomon Caves tour should be high on anyone’s list if they’re visiting the Mole Creek area. Words cannot describe how spectacular they are. The caves are only accessible by guided tour, and fortunately we got the last 2 spots available for both the Marakoopa Cave and King Solomon tours. I’d recommend doing both and booking in advance. Wear appropriate shoes as the ground is wet, and bring a jacket as it’s only 9° inside. Aaron, our tour guide, was a fantastic educator and was willing to give in-depth answers to questions, rather than simply being an entertainer. I only subtracted a star for the lack of representation and information regarding the palawa (indigenous) Tasmanians and their history with the caves/karst landscapes. It would have added an valuable, alternative aspect to the standard European,...
