We accidently came to this museum but I'm glad we did. My kids (4,9 & 11) were fascinated with all the old stuff and amazed at how small the house was. I was really impressed with the information boards and we learnt lots of new things. The boys were too scared to go down in to the cellar but my daughter and i thought it was great. There is also a seperate school house out the back with actual writing lessons and things like that in there. There is an outhouse and a smoke house which is how they used to preserve the meat.
