Took us 6.5 hours return, we wanted to go another way but the river current was too strong we couldn’t cross the river! The walk itself was so nice, you are walking along the water most of the time. There are some elevations but not much, it’s very doable. You will need a certain amount of fitness though. It’s unsealed road going in but you will be able to get there with a regular car, just drive safe. There are no reception here so load your maps in advance. Went on a weekday and it’s very quiet! One of the best waterfall walks in Tassie...

No sign posts telling you which way to go or to shower cave falls or slit rock falls, can easily get lost up there have a fall or trip up , as we did.all over grown no proper track anywere or clearly marked. Dangerous at times, the council need to invest in a clearly marked route and keep it clear to walk up, and was by no means a moderate climb as stated. Verry dissapointed, couldnt get any further on route so turned back after 2 hrs not seeinf any water falls, verry...

Great walk. Besides the inclines its fatiguing due to the “choose your next step” nature of the trail. Reasonably well marked with metal triangles which we found ourselves casting about for a bit as there are several places you can get off track. Waterfall was impressive though not a great deal of water coming over. 11.8km 5.5 hours including breaks. Legs and knees fatigued by the end but still managed a warm down short walk to Liffey Falls, a 30...

Beautiful and awesome trail. Started from hobart pretty early but due to icy roads on the central highland route, had to take a detour and go via Campbell town. Easy-moderate track for the physically fit. Last few parts of the track were covered with snow (waterfall was frozen) making it a bit slippery. We started at 01:00 and completed at 5:00 (just before it got dark). Could not do the split track circuit due to bad conditions (icy) and time constraints.
