Great outlook. Well worth the effort. But not necessary if you go all the way to Nepean Point (where the views are better and there are more abandoned military facilities). Don't do the walk to the top of Cheviot Hill if you are not in good health. It is quite steep. If you walk up to the top, take the right fork - that way you avoid walking up steep steps. You can either do the whole loop anti-clockwise, so you walk down the steps on your way back, or avoid the steps completely and return via the same sloping paved pathway. Enjoy your time!

An exposed and quite windy lookout area of the surrounding landscape. It's a relatively small walk up the hill and is a little out of the way from the main path. Definitely worth the visit when in the area and some stunning views when at the top.

Big walk to the top of a very windy hill to a great look out and one old dangerous building which was not far from there a old gun turret . This place is a bit out the way and a steep walk up but well worth the visit why you are here
