This is a beautiful spot, no matter what the season. (Though, it's crowded during summer as it's one of the few patrolled ocean beaches in the area.) Drive into the car park and either take the ramp (far left corner as you face the ocean) or the stairs(far right corner as you face the ocean) to get down to the beach. Once up to, there are lovely views and chairs to sit down on for a test in the shade. Turn around to go back the way you came out continue past the cute structure to follow the track down to the car park - it's a little longer if you choose the second option. There are tea rooms (which is just a fancy way of saying there's a cafe) where you can buy a sit down meal, afternoon tea, take away ice creams and coffee. It's a great place for a family or couples outing...or by yourself! Take the camera but leave the kite at home because any breeze is...

Such a pretty area and well worth the effort. Public toilets...
