This temple is situated in a spacious suburban region in Melbourne and is unique due to its resemblence to a typical temple in Sri Lanka. It consists of all essential items of worship in a usual template in Sri Lanka and the outdoor Bodhi tree is special due to its existence exposed to non-tropical climatic conditions and seasonal changes. The place reminds of common day-to-day spectacle in Sri Lanka which is quite rare in this region of Australia. Ample parking is abailable and the place is...

A calm and beautiful Theravada Buddhist Temple. There are approximately 5-10 monks who live and preach Buddhism. Weekly Sunday school and meditation programmes are held. You can plan alms giving pinkam, gilanpasa pinkam, or donate daily expenses, among other things. Outside the main hall, there is a pagoda, a Bodhi tree, and Buddha statues for worship. A calm and respectful environment. My mind was very calm after visiting...

I went here early morning around 6.30 AM on a Saturday and found the place to be quite quiet. There were about 4-6 people, which increased to 10-15 in an hour. Very peaceful place. Many families were there praying and watering the big tree with their kids. We found friendly and welcoming people there. It was my first experience in a Buddhist Temple and I learned a lot. There is a big and well maintained parking. Please follow their practice of removing shoes at the entrance and be respectful.

Buddhist spiritual place. Very calm and pleasent environment. Very well organized parking lot. Prayer hall was peaceful with a beautiful Buddha statue. Everyone is allowed to enter the prayer hall. Just follow and respect the rules of the place like removing shoes before entering certain worship places.
