A nice walking track to take the dog (or kids!). A bit of construction/renovation work going on at the time of this review, so a few areas are fenced off, but the park is plentiful big for a bit of a fresh air and a run! Children's play area looks quite big with plenty of activities to use, although it's temporarily closed amid COVID-19. The play area looks well maintained however and hopefully will be back to normal soon! The park itself is generally well maintained, minimal rubbish with a few nice sculptures scattered about. Will be very nice when the metal fences are taken away and any renovations / construction is complete.

Heatherton Park is a dog's dream come true! With acres of open space, it's the perfect spot for your furry friend to run, play, and explore to their heart's content. The vast, well-maintained grounds offer plenty of room for games of fetch and meeting new pals. It's not just a treat for dogs, but a relaxing escape for owners too. This park is a fantastic spot for bonding with your pet in the great outdoors. A visit to Heatherton Park is guaranteed tail-wagging fun!

One of the nicest park in the area... This park is Monster themed with many swings. It has trampoline, cubby house and much more. It's open for dogs as well... My bub loves dog so he love this park especially. Highly recommended if you bub loves to walk on green grass as the greenery is spread in acres. It has a jogging/walking area which is huge

Good little park, with the Ireland Street playground very spacious and well maintained. There is a shaded BBQ area which has 2 tables and a seperate table nearby.

Toilets are adjacent to the playground as well as bike racks. There is not a carpark near the playground so no choice to park in the street, which is quiet anyway, so shouldn't be a problem.

I can see that when busy the playground can get a bit congested. There is a paved track around the playground, great for scooters and kids...
