NATARAJAN - Priest. This was my first visit to this temple for a car pooja. I usually go to the Shiva Vishnu Temple or the Rockbank Temple, but a friend recommended this place, saying it was peaceful and beautiful.

I paid $51 for the car pooja. After a short wait, the priest came to the car, performed the pooja for barely 2–3 minutes, and then immediately asked for dakshina. We told him we didn’t have cash, and he insisted we go to a nearby 7-Eleven to withdraw money. I mentioned we didn’t have a card to do that. He continued insisting, saying dakshina is important. I agreed to transfer funds and mentioned I would send $35. He responded dismissively, asking, “Why $35? Just transfer $50,” and then abruptly stopped the pooja halfway.

It was a really disappointing experience. The location may be peaceful, but that means nothing if the priest behaves in such a money-minded and disrespectful way. This ruined what was supposed to be a meaningful and spiritual moment for us.

It’s not about the money—it’s about the attitude and the way we were treated. I've seen similar complaints in other reviews, and I sincerely hope the temple management takes this issue seriously and takes appropriate action. No devotee should feel pressured or disrespected during a...

I had the pleasure of having Priest Natarajan from the Kundrathu Murugan Kumaran Temple perform the Gruhapravesam ceremony at my new home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his services. From the moment he arrived promptly at 4 AM, his professionalism and dedication were evident.

He conducted the pooja with great efficiency and reverence, ensuring that every ritual was performed accurately and within the scheduled time. What truly stood out was his willingness to address all my questions, not just on the day of the ceremony, but even three days later. Whether it was about purchasing the right pooja items or understanding how to handle them afterward, his guidance was both thorough and patient.

Priest Natarajan’s expertise and considerate approach made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend him for any ceremonial needs you may have. His punctuality, professionalism, and willingness to provide support beyond the ceremony itself are truly...

If you come across priest named Natarajan he needs minimum 250$ for homam. We paid temple 250$ for homam as admin fee and we need to pick them and drop them, they don’t drive. For the past 11 years I’m doing Navarathri and homam from this temple, we gave them 100$ initially then to 150$ for dhakshana excluding 250$ admin fee. Today after I gave Dhakshana he said minimum 250$ people give, so give me more this is not enough. I never heared someone saying like this, finally gave 150$ but he left unhappy. We don’t withdraw and keep cash at home. How will you feel, after hard work physically and mentally after the Navarathri, they behave like this. Complaining to them makes no difference. Please drive by yourself if you want 250$ as minimum. From the memory past 11 years performed n number of poojas and homam, they never demanded money until recent days. Hope things get...

Visited the temple a few weekends ago and I found out that they sell takeaway Indian food at the entrance. The food is delicious and authentic. --------------------------------------------- Reviewed on 2022 Visiting this temple for the first time can be a bit confused as they are currently upgrading the facility nearby the temple. According to Google Maps, you may not be able to find the temple entry, but remember to read on the signboard they provide on the roadside. It guides you to the temple parking lots as shown in the photos. There are plenty of parking lots however the lighting in the parking area needs to be improved.

This temple is a serene retreat away from traffic. It is still under development, but it exudes a palpable spiritual energy. Lord Vinayaka, Lord Shiva, Navagraha deities, and the main deity, Lord Murgan, grace the temple. Their divine presence provides solace and inspiration. Rituals and ceremonies are conducted with sincerity, heightening the spiritual ambience. This temple is a must-visit destination, offering a tranquil and divinely charged experience. Must visit place highly recommended.

Love visiting this traditional temple which gives devotional satisfaction and it has most deities including Shiva, Parvathi, Ganapathi, Marukan, Ayyapa, Devi, Ram Sita Laxman, Devi, Navagraha, and so on. Rituals are done the traditional ways and gives a lot of similar vibes of temples back home. The canteen run by volunteers have amazing food and hope they would open it back soon once the pandemic is under control.
