The walk up to the falls is up hill but taken at a steady pace can be manageable. But careful if you aren’t good on your feet. We were there mid morning and the car park was full but moved well as it only took us about 40mins up and back. Beautiful walk, relaxing amongst ferns and old trees. It is about a 3-3.5km walk to the falls themselves, and although it is not hard it is a steady incline so some degree of fitness is required to walk up and down (for example it isn't pram or disabled friendly and kids or inactive adults may struggle).
