Menzies Creek Walking Track — Attraction in Melbourne

The condition of this track is truly shameful. It's totally overgrown and in desperate need of maintenance and, from what I can gather, it's been like this for at least four years. If the track is left open, it should be in a state that allows people to actually walk on it. We had to turn around after a while bush bashing because we just couldn't continue any more. Perhaps we should have taken a "machete"! Whoever is in charge of this, it's about time money and staff were allocated to the upkeep of this otherwise...

22/04/24 23-degree perfect. day. A five star walk from Telopea Road, but I took off 1 star due to overgrowth on track from Avard Road to old Emerald Road.
