My neighbour Craig and I had high hopes for this walk, even taking into consideration the lack of sealed path. Well I’ll just say our hopes were quickly dashed. And sufficiently! Passing an absolute darling of a house on a hill with a grassy, rolling front yard we witnessed a group of Tasmanian’s (we saw the flag) arriving on the shore by boat. Well blow me down the front door of the darling house blew open and a red faced man with his trousers around his ankles came three-legged-racing down the incline, shotgun in hand, shouting “they’ll never take Sorrento!” Craig and I moved along quickly not wanting to intervene in what was obviously some long running turf war. Can get a similar view with better entertainment...

A lovely & interesting walk, with beautiful cliff top views across the bay, some through trees, and walking close to large grand houses and properties - also very interesting. I gave a rating of 4 stars not 5, partly because the start of the walk at Lentell Avenue was tricky to find, with a high gate making it look like private property and no sign, other than to pick up your dog poop! The walk is easy - but a short section is sloped across grass & dirt without an exact track - so may not be suitable for some people with difficulties walking. At the Point King end, there is access to a lovely quiet beach area. It was also interesting looking at the artists trail paintings...

Marvel in the majesty of the unspoilt coastline. Big houses that make you dream of working that little bit harder! A must if you are in Sorrento and want to stretch your pins! And why not head to the Sorrento hotel for a well deserved sundowner. The little strip of shops in Sorrento main road are also worth a visit. Good spots for a cup of tea and 🍰About an hour and 10 minutes from central Melbourne in good traffic. Worth driving down the coastal route if you have time to kill - vs taking the freeway which is quicker but a...

Just a few photos of what I took on Millionaires walk. A surprising walk through paths past locked gates, some backyards without fencing. Looking over the cliff-from back yards onto the bay. All along curious to who might live or have lived in the homes. This was a self guide walk, not a guided one. It is said a guided one will tell you who had lived there and how much the property was worth. When you go around the block to the front, you get a bigger appreciation of the grandness and beauty of each property.
