Hello,

I found my recent dealings with the owner's of this business to be somewhat unpleasant.

In particular one of the owners was rude and very abrupt.

If you scroll back through the reviews for this place you will find this to be quite a common experience.

Can't recommend when there's so many options out there to choose from.

Dear PROUD OWNER, I appreciate the time you have taken to respond to my review, although, given your vocation is that of brewing alcohol and the peddling of such, I am somewhat reluctant to consider your ability to diagnosis possible mood disorders as reliant.

What I do know is my interaction with you was not pleasant, and given such I felt compelled to express that fact.

Hell is of no interest to me, and I have little affection for luck.

PROUD OWNER, you are correct in your reference to my prior posts of 1 star reviews, as I have left them before no doubt, just as you have received them. Google reviews are not a pastime of mine, having left maybe 6-8 of them over approx 10+ years of this particular account having been opened. When I experience something positively out of the ordinary, or equally negative, I do at times take the time to post a review, and so here we are. If I recall correctly your 1 star review is now on par with similar left for poor service received at a Footlocker shoe shop, and a budget courier service, perhaps Smartsend ? I dare say you would be better read as to educate me on these specifics.

I am considerate your response exemplifies the very reasoning of my review, and that of those left similarly.

If I may , as to refresh ones memory :

1 star , Peter Morgan "....also didn’t help that the attitude of the owner was incredibly dismissive. Not only did the poorly made gin leave a bad taste in our mouths but so did the service.

Owner/Your response, : "...Well what a shame you did not enjoy, you know what we cannot please everyone..."

1 star , Andrew Barker : "..Poor facilities, cold, closed during holidays, mediocre yet high priced wines..."

Owner/Your response, : "Hi Andrew, firstly very disappointed in your review, sorry but do not agree with you at all about our facilities, but remembering you have insulted where we live, so thank you for that! .......But please give me your address so we can come and visit your Vineyard that you own and then we can give you a review! "

me ~ good grief !

1 star , Michael Didilis : " Threatened and sworn at by the owners because our group arrived 10 minutes late… never come here"

It is indeed a tall order to please everyone PROUD OWNER, especially when conducting business.

It has been said that those who receive instruction will prosper, and those that ignore instructions despise...

This was a disappointment from start to finish. We arrived for a gin tasting and were told we had to wait for a hens day to finish up, which wasn’t an issue so our group proceeded to order drinks at the other bar. We ordered some of the cocktails and a standard negroni. The other cocktails were fine but the negroni came out violet purple in colour and didn’t taste as you would normally expect a negroni to taste (very simple, one part vermouth, one part Campari, one part standard gin). This negroni however was purple. After going back to the bartender to ask what was in this drink and to see if they could make just a standard negroni as originally asked, the owner came over and proceeded to take a sip of the drink and then hand it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it. I’m not sure if they’ve been living under a rock for the last two years with Covid and being Covid safe but you shouldn’t be taking a drink of your customers drink and then handing it back to them to continue to consume. It’s just basic health and safety guidelines. It also didn’t help that the attitude of the owner was incredibly dismissive. Not only did the poorly made gin leave a bad taste in our mouths but so did the service. We...

We visited Morgans Distillery with a hens party and we couldn’t have been happier with our last stop of the tour. I was a big fan of the Pinot Gin but all of the gins were delicious. I was well and truely won over by the Salted Caramel Vodka, which they use in their espresso martini’s. I am quite the espresso martini connoisseur and my goodness the one Morgans makes is to die for. Needless to say I purchased some salted caramel vodka to enhance my home made martini’s. Simon, his wife and the team were so lovely and beyond accommodating, we were quickly linked up to play our own music with the only rule being that it had to be loud. I could have stayed there all night chatting away to Simon and his team. My only disappointment was that I didn’t try their wines but that gives me a great excuse to go back there someday! Absolutely recommend a stop in at this fabulous place, I truely...

Morgan's was the best venue of our gin day out! There were three of us (I was DD so only had tiny tastes from my sister's flight). We started here with a gin flight and cheese and meat platter just before lunch time. We would revisit in a heartbeat. They had by far the widest selection of gins and the best grazing platters. The prices were very good for both tastings and purchases and the cheeses are also available for purchase. Next time we may try their wines as they have a good range and reputation for wine as well. Our top pick (unanimously voted by all 3 of us), was the purple patch gin, followed by the vanilla vodka. All 3 cheeses were delicious too and I don't usually like blue cheeses.

A fabulous spot to spend an afternoon. I visited with my partner who enjoyed a wine tasting and a spirit tasting. The staff were lovely, informative and kind. Tastings were done with table service, which means each glass can be enjoyed at your own pace. There was a range of wine, spirits and cocktails on the menu, as well as some non alcoholic options too. We shared a beautiful local cheese and meat platter, which was generous in size and very tasty and fresh. The environment is cosy with a lovely atmosphere. Two beautiful little doggos said hello to us as well, which is always a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

A nice selection of wine, spirits and cheese. Lovely venue with plenty of seating (both in shade and in the sun). Staff were very friendly too and we met their two dogs who escaped (but were very lovely). Wine tasting was great and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately got there too late and the kitchen wasn't open (until 4 pm, with wine being served until 5 pm). We spent just shy of an hour there for tasting.
