The cafe is just a small part of a large shed where u walk in, order, then comsume in the gardens. Small array to choose from. Coffee was weak according to 3/3 coffee orders.
Be careful if asked if you're going to "walk around", as we said we were but didnt mean the themed gardens, to which there was an entry fee. After explaining we were just sitting and walking around near the front, they refunded us the fee.
Toilet out back was one of those portable ones. Garden was well maintained with a pond near the carpark.
Edit: In response to the business' response, we DID NOT wander the grounds to anything that was paid as you wrongly suggest. We are happy to pay our fair way anywhere. We simply sat on the open grass near the shed and there was a pond (or perhaps dam) behind the rose bushes. We specifically asked if it cost anything to be in this area to which we were told NO. What we saw in this small space was well maintained, but I should have kept that comment to myself since you assumed I was speaking about all of the acres beyond. So yes, I understand if you are confused since you misinterpreted my review.
Coffee is subjective. If three of us thought our coffees were weak, I think we're allowed to?
Sorry I missed the main toilets....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did a random search of somewhere to take the Grandkids yesterday and came across Oasis Berry Farms. It was an hour from their home in the Dandenongs, we broke the journey in Lilydale for lunch, and then headed to the farm. The scenery on the way is just beautiful, and lots of animals for the grandies to point out and wave too.
Oasis Berry Farms blew us out of the water. It is just beautiful, scenic, spacious and really fun for all ages. The boys went crazy for the dinosaur walk, and then the little miniature world.
We then went to hunt for the treasure, found some gold, to swap for a little gift in the shop.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the under cover seating.
There were heaps of toys to play with outside, footballs, fuzzy ball throw, frisbees, tennis game, tossing game, rocking horse, so many.
Absolutely delightful discovery.....only pay for Adult entry, so amazing value for money. Best of all, you can buy a bucket of the freshest juiciest blueberries to eat there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe attended this beautiful farm yesterday after seeing an advertisement on Instagram. This is truly more than just a farm - they had a little treasure hunt for the kids, a play area, picnic area, rose garden, a dinoasaur park and a fairy garden like no other - the fairy garden had a dark room with lit up fairy sculptures.
The kids had the most beautiful time. But best of all, this is not a commercial run farm, it is truly family run - we got greeted by Rodolfo and his family when we arrived and they are so personable and kind. We can't wait to return in a few weeks to get some blueberries - unfortunately a cold snap delayed their blueberry season - but just gives us another reason to attend again!
For me, it's not just the venue, but the people who run it and this family was just wonderful and put their heart and soul into making this a magical place...
