We found this place on our way down from the Arthur’s point. According to the board the dam is 1.1 km away from the main road where we parked the car. Once we started hiking it felt like it’s at least 3 km and took a lot of time just to reach the dam. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything worth seeing, there was hardly a path. It’s just a small pond which is not suitable for swimming. The return journey to the car park was sooooo exhausting. The road is too steeep, we had to take 4 stops just to walk 1.1 km. Read moreThe walk from the car park was about an hour with 3 children in tow. It was a wet and cold day, but we enjoyed seeing the native heath, which was a mass of pink and white flowers in mid June. The dam is beautiful and the paths to it are well tended.
