The walk from the car park was about an hour with 3 children in tow. It was a wet and cold day, but we enjoyed seeing the native heath, which was a mass of pink and white flowers in mid June. The dam is beautiful and the paths to it are well tended. Certainly worth taking this walk even with intermittent showers and mud. Make sure to take waterproof coats and boots in order to be comfortable. We had a thermos of hot chocolate and biscuits en route.

Hidden Gem great walk from Arthur’s Seat Rd down to the dam with excellent large walking track which go’s right around the dam. Mostly downhill to the dam so a bit of walk backup the hills but not for advanced walkers. Very scenic bush land and flowers was actually surprised on how nice it was.

Really lovely dam or lake with a fascinating history. It’s a perfect spot to visit on a beautiful day. We came in from the Boundary Road end. The walk from there gets steep in a few spots but it’s a lot of fun to do. Great spot here. It’s well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We found this place on our way down from the Arthur’s point. According to the board the dam is 1.1 km away from the main road where we parked the car. Once we started hiking it felt like it’s at least 3 km and took a lot of time just to reach the dam. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything worth seeing, there was hardly a path. It’s just a small pond which is not suitable for swimming. The return journey to the car park was sooooo exhausting. The road is too steeep, we had to take 4 stops just to walk 1.1 km. After that hike, all of us were so tired and our feet started...

There is no scenery worth seeing here. It is about 1200 meters from the gate to the small lake inside, 600 meters of which is a large slope, and walking and cycling can be very tiring. Only junk eucalyptus, other tree species were extinguished by the fire. The scenery is dull and boring, here is only suitable for locals to ride bicycles and walks. It should not be called...
