Wednesday 22/05/24, temp about 9 degrees. A chilly start to the day's walks. We set of at a brisk pace 10 minutes in the mornings sun was doing its magic. The trail before us twisted and turned, pigface, banksias and the gnarly weathered ti tree. A path to our right took us to the beach. Walking as close to the water's edge on the firm sand we headed toward the distant pier, on reaching it we were rewarded with sun warmed bench seating. Hot soup and bickies consumed 20 minutes later we continued on. The Tennis Court being the halfway point to out 10 kms walk we took an alternate route back. The Kananook Creek Trail forded us with a sticky beak into people's backyards and glimpses of the bird life...
