Also known as Redwood forest. This is a popular lil spot to either picnic or just be amongst the trees and listen to nature.

Forget about time while you marvel at the heights of the trees, tranquillity and enjoy the nice cool shade it gives.

Being there in the rain is a nice experience too where you can really immerse yourself and feel at peace.

Best to go either in the morning or evening if u want...

Only just discovered the existence of this place. Loved it. The redwoods are much smaller than the ones in California but they are a lot younger. The trees have been planted in neat straight rows. Beautifully clean fresh air. Cute nests to take your photo in. Only a short stroll to the river and a small surprising glade just in the other side of the forest. Lots of photo...

Wide open space, blocked off for “health concerns”. What a joke, meanwhile, La La Falls is much smaller and is still open. Meanwhile, at Chadstone shopping centre, where people are in closer proximity, “Hey welcome and cram yourself into an enclosed space, but please maintain social distancing”

Peaceful amongst the trees and fun to see some of the tree branch teepee shacks people have made for kids to play in. Do watch for spiders - we saw a few with webs at face height. Also shopping the river the trail is flat and soothing with the sound of the running stream and bushland in the breeze. We did get a couple of leeches - watch your ankles if uncovered!

The Sequoia Forest is a must see if your in the Warburton area. Be sure to use your GPS because road signage is non existent. While in Warburton there are multiple cafe options for lunch. Definitely visit Silva’s for a good coffee and check out the adjacent water wheel and Tourist visitor centre.
